Lara Lightsey

Founder, Lara Lightsey Picou, is schooled in graphic design and holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University.  For the past ten years, she has successfully served as in-house designer and marketing director for an internationally-recognized manufacturer.  During this time, she has been resp0nsible for all aspects of corporate design, both print and web, facilitating appearances at numerous trade expos, and branding the company world-wide.  Her expertise involves communication in any and all capacities.  "Whether I am branding a company’s image, conveying a message internally or to the public, or researching the audience in which I must communicate, it is my sole responsibility to speak on behalf of my clients".  Lara's formal education extends much further than art; it involves the deeper means of exchanging a message, through design, written words, or even evoking an emotion.  Her passion for design stems from early years spent creating her signature stationary and greeting cards that has developed into a unique style, combining an artistic flair with logical, poignant branding strategies.
