The challenge: Create an online identity while utilizing some of the already established brand elements that the community has come to recognize.
The Port of Krotz Springs already had several printed pieces in use and while they yearned for an updated look, they did not want to lose their already established identity altogether. The design challenge here was to incorporate a similar look and feel, while updating the Port’s logo and color scheme to more accurately represent the growth and innovations the Port is undergoing.
The new web site has been designed using modern web technology that ensures the site will appear similar to viewers across multiple browsers and various screen sizes, including phones and tablets. This is an especially important development for the Port as their reach spans the globe, and visitors use various Internet connections and web browsers to access the World Wide Web. Some key features considered in the new design are simplified navigation, improved search engine visibility and relevant information for existing and potential business partners.
